The annual awards of gastronomic leader Michelin for Spain and Portugal let the hearts of gourmets on Mallorca beat faster.
All eight excellent restaurants in Mallorca are allowed to keep their stars.
The Gourmet Scene introduces you to the best restaurants serving culinary delights on the Mediterranean island and has a total of nine Michelin-starred restaurants:
The restaurant Zaranda at the Hotel Castell Son Claret has two stars.
Other star restaurants in Mallorca are the Maca de Castro in Port d'Alcúdia, the Marc Fosh and the Adrián Quetglas, the Andreu Genestra at Capdepera, the Es Racó d'es Teix in Deià,
the Es Fum at the Hotel St. Regis Mardavall and the Argos in Port de Pollença.
Although chef Alvaro Salazar announced a few days ago to leave the Argos, the restaurant is allowed to keep its star.
That's because the awards are given to restaurants, rather than to people.
All restaurant reviews are in the Michelin Guide 2019 for Spain and Portugal.
