The long-awaited opening of the 16th edition of the Art Palma Brunch will take place on Saturday, March 20th and will last until May 15th. The art event brings the latest artistic creations of contemporary art to the public. With the L21 gallery in its new room in S 'Escorxador, this year's program has been expanded; all other galleries can be reached on foot with a stroll through the historic center of Palma.
In collaboration with the City Council of Palma, the Mallorca Council, Rosa Blanca, CaixaForum Palma, Andratx City Council and the associated rooms Casal Solleric, Caixaforum, Es Baluard Museum, Miró Mallorca Foundation, 6 A art gallery and cultural center "Sa Nostra", 25 guided tours are offered free of charge with prior registration; the exhibition rooms can also be visited freely. The program will be more extensive and expressive this year, as it was canceled in 2020 due to the pandemic. Since the event extends over a longer period of time, a visit is always a relaxing one. The first fully booked dates suggest that the visitor quota is well frequented.
The tours under the name of the so-called "Gallery Walks" are offered on Thursdays and Fridays at 6:00 p.m. and on Saturdays at 11:00 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. By the way, there are individual tours at the weekend to the Galeria Maior in Pollença and to the CCA Andratx. Art expert Pau Waelder offers a total of 25 of the approximately one-hour gallery walks for small groups in Catalan, Spanish and English, whereby all preventive health measures apply.
